Heroic Apparel is active duty owned and family operated. I joined the Navy in 2007 and continue to serve today. My wife maintains her full-time career while also helping me build this brand and run day to day operations of the business. Even our daughter pitches in and helps us behind the scenes when she isn't busy with school or gymnastics.

When we first started, we were outsourcing all of our printing and packing and shipping orders from home. We quickly realized that to test out new designs, we needed a better way. We ultimately decided to enter into screenprinting ourselves. We bought the equipment, learned the process, and we were off to the races! We even created a sister screenprinting company, Patriot Printing, and started printing shirts for local businesses.

After the military moved us to Tennessee, we decided to shut down Patriot Printing. We knew if we wanted to create and print new designs for Heroic Apparel and grow our company, we needed to focus all of our effort on that goal. After all, there are only 24 hours in a day!

We still pack and ship all of our orders from home. This enables us to maintain a personal connection to our customers and our brand. We know that as we grow, we will need to let go of some of the personal touches that we pride ourselves on today, but for now....we will keep on personally packing each order and signing each packing slip.

I created Heroic Apparel at the end of 2020, a time when there was uncertainty all around us. I always knew that when I retired from the military, I wanted to start a business. I wasn't sure how my skills learned in the military would transition to the "real" world and couldn't see myself in corporate America. In the midst of the pandemic when I saw so many of our friends lose their livelihood, I felt an overwhelming desire to jumpstart that dream. I told my wife a million times I wanted to start a t-shirt company and she always laughed. This time I had a design in mind and I was determined to make it happen. She reluctantly agreed and the rest is history!

At it's core, Heroic Apparel embodies the tenants of our life: Faith, Family, and Freedom. We believe in the 2nd amendment and have a profound love for our country. I am also a very proud Dad of a sassy little girl who stole my heart in a way I never could have imagined. Heroic Apparel celebrates that relationship with a heavy emphasis on the role of a father as their daughter's protector. We don't support violence, but we do proudly create apparel that makes a statement aligned with our core values.

The name, Heroic Apparel, was created to celebrate the the hero in all of us. Whether you serve your country, your community, or your family, you are a hero to someone. God bless and thank you for allowing us to continue to grow.
